No es simplemente un roce is a performance that took place on September 13th, 2018, at Galería Bech (Santiago, Chile), during the launch of the poetry collection Los Cardos by Naomi Orellana and the opening of the exhibition of the same name, as part of her expanded poetry project.

For this performance, the author was present, reciting poetry from her collection, which served as the foundation and inspiration for the performative action.

Inspired by the art of shibari, the performance explored both perceived external boundaries and self-imposed limits, through the possibilities offered by a rope tied to the body. The rope used was specially crafted for this performance.
